LA PORTE – Qualifying veterans in La Porte County are invited to have a free dental screening from 8 a.m. – 1 p.m., Nov. 8 at the IU Health La Porte Dental Center, 400 Teegarden St., La Porte. To make an appointment, call 219-326-1943.
The free screening is offered to veterans who live in La Porte County, specifically those who do not have a dentist, or those who have no dental insurance and limited ability to pay.
Screenings are available by appointment only, and veterans will need to bring discharge papers (DD214, and a driver’s license or valid state ID.
