MERRILLVILLE — Methodist Hospitals will host their Annual Spring Spa Day to provide women who are being treated for cancer or who have survived cancer a day of pampering, empowerment and health education. The event will be held at the Southlake Campus in Merrillville, Indiana.
This event includes all women who are currently being treated for any type of cancer or are cancer survivors. The following activities will be offered at this year’s event:
*Healthy Eating and Cooking Demonstration with a focus on cancer fighting foods
*Paraffin Hand Waxes
*Reflexology and Reiki
*Chair Massages
*Bone Density Screenings
*Vendor Booths, Raffles and much more
*Art display from area high school students with a focus on cancer survivorship
The event will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2014 from 9 a.m. to noon at Methodist Hospitals Southlake, Pavilion B, 200 E. 89th Avenue, Merrillville, IN.
