PORTAGE – Falk PLI Engineering & Surveying Inc. will expand its headquarters, creating 34 new jobs by 2016.
The new office will be 9,000 square feet at AmeriPlex at the Port. The project will be finished in the fall. Falk PLI currently has 33 full-time employees in Indiana and will be looking to hire engineers, technicians and administrate support workers.
Founded in 1995, Falk PLI provides civil engineering and surveying services for the industrial, commercial and resident sectors. The company recently opened an office in Pittsburgh which specializes in laser scanning and tracking technology.
The Indiana Economic Development Corp. offered Falk $350,000 in conditional tax credits and $100,000 in training grants based on the company’s job creation plans.
