Staff from the Elkhart Goodwill Community Career Center will host an informal group chat about job searching, area services, and what the Career Center has to offer. Are you trying to figure out how to purchase a new home, make repairs on your existing home, or pay for college? Come to the Elkhart Goodwill Community Career Center on Wednesday, August 16th anytime between 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm to meet with a Family Development Consultant from Real Services.
Work One Veteran’s Representative
• Thursday, August 17th / 10:00 am to 12:00 pm
A Veteran’s Representative from the Elkhart Work One Office will be at the Community Career Center on Thursday, August 17th from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. He will be available to speak one-on-one with any Veteran about services available in the area. He can also provide employment assistance for those who are getting back into the workforce.
Job Fair
• Tuesday, August 29th / 11: 00 am to 2:00 pm
Visit the Elkhart Goodwill Community Career Center on Tuesday, August 29th anytime between 11:00 am and 2:00 pm for our Job Fair. Employers in attendance will be: Four Winds Casino Resort, Fusion Wood Products, Great Lakes Forest Products, HMS Host, Performance Plus, PTI (Professional Transportation Inc), Specialized Staffing, Speedway, St Joseph Health Systems, Thor Motor Coach, Troyer Foods and Walmart. Anyone who stops in and talks to an employer during the Job Fair will receive a 15% Off Coupon to use in the Goodwill Retail Store! These companies have openings for part time and full time positions.
All Career Center Events are free and open to the public.
