Patrick Industries Inc. said company president Andy Nemeth will succeed Todd Cleveland as chief executive officer.
The Elkhart-based maker and distributor of building and related products, said Nemeth will take over as CEO on Jan. 1 and will remain company president and retain his position on Patrick’s board of directors. Cleveland will become executive chairman and will continue to lead the board of directors.
“The company has continued to evolve in its depth, breadth, and complexity as it has grown in alignment with our strategic plan, and Andy has provided exceptional strategic, organizational, operational, and financial leadership during this time and throughout his 23-year tenure with Patrick,” Cleveland said in a statement. “He has a proven track record of accomplishment, leadership credibility, and vision within our organization and the industries in which we operate, and has worked side by side with me in driving the execution of our strategic vision.”
Nemeth has served as company president since 2016. He has been with the company since 1996 and has served a variety of executive roles.
Cleveland was appointed board chairman in 2018 and has served as CEO since 2009.
Patrick Industries Inc. is a manufacturer and distributor of component products and building products serving the recreational vehicle, marine and housing industries. The company has numerous around the country as well as sites in Canada, China and the Netherlands.
