GRANGER – Doctors Express Granger announces the grand opening of its first Indiana neighborhood Urgent Care Center at 7115 Heritage Square Drive, Suite 1250, Granger.
Doctors Express Granger is owned by Dr. Richard Sullivan and Dr. Michael Martino. Normal hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. seven days a week.
On Saturday, Feb. 2, the public is invited to an open house from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tours will be offered along with children’s entertainment and a drawing for raffle prizes including an iPad. The first 150 families will receive a free first aid kit for their home or vehicle. Light refreshments will also be served.
Using the emergency room for non-life threating illnesses is a costly prospect for people and businesses. Additionally, people may wait many hours to be seen for these urgent care needs. It’s costly for patients, insurance companies and is frustrating for both patients and physicians.
The goal of Doctors Express is to provide the greater South Bend area with a state-of-the-art urgent care center that bridges the gap between primary care physicians and the emergency room for non life-threatening medical conditions. The walk-in center offers fast, effective and affordable care to patients needing immediate medical attention due to illness or injury. Doctors Express Granger will also provide urgent care services for the many college and university students in the community as well as out of town visitors to the greater South Bend area.
Doctors Express Granger will offer urgent care for treatment for illness and injury; digital X-ray services; lab work; occupational health including workplace injuries covered by Workman’s Compensation, drug screenings, pre-employment physicals and work-site medical services like flu shots; and physician-to-physician relationships.
The Doctors Express Granger includes, 3,000-square-feet waiting rooms, exam rooms, and X-ray facility and labs.
