HAMMOND – The John Dillinger Museum in the Indiana Welcome Center will have free admission on Saturday, Sept. 29, in conjunction with the Smithsonian’s Museum Day Live! Event.
The museum, which explores the life and times of John Dillinger and other gangsters during the 1930s as well as advancements in crime fighting technology, will allow visitors to enter with a Museum Day Live! ticket.
Tickets are available at www.smithsonianmag.com/museumday/ticket. While the web site says only two people will be admitted per ticket, the Indiana Welcome Center will not limit the amount of entrants per ticket. Additionally, those unable to print the ticket will still be able to enter the museum free.
The Indiana Welcome Center is at 7770 Corinne Drive just off Interstate 94 at Kennedy Avenue.
