GARY — In partnership with Live Arts studio, Indiana University Northwest and 444 Caribbean Grill, Arise is proud to announce the 2nd Annual Culture Shock Multicultural Fest Hosted by Eva Gomez from WLTH 1370 and Arise youth. The Gary community will once again enjoy the opportunity to “Discover the World”, as the Culture Shock Multicultural Festival returns to Live Arts Studio on Saturday, October 25 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. This signature Arise event honors the diversity that is one of the community's greatest assets, and brings to life the vision that Arise Co-founders Alicia Nunn and Dara Jackson had for this unique place. Attendees are encouraged to dress in native attire and share the uniqueness of their cultural roots.
In addition to performances, the Festival will feature an array of arts and crafts activities for the entire family. As part of the Festival, there will be a number of vendors from jewelry, art, organizations, restaurants and more in attendance.
