Corvilla Open House

The community is invited to visit the beautiful Corvilla Campus, tour the new facility,
meet staff and learn about the new Programs and Services that we are offering to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the community.

Corvilla, a non‐profit organization, has been serving people with developmental
disabilities in the community for over 55 years and continues to make a difference in the
quality and kind of services available to individuals with a variety of intellectual and
developmental needs.

On Thursday, October 20th from 4:00PM to 7:00PM, Corvilla will host a Ribbon Cutting
and Open House at its new location at 3620 Deahl Ct. in South Bend. This new facility is
located on 17 acres of woods, ponds and abundant wildlife, all just a few minutes west of
downtown South Bend.

One wing of the new building is home to the Corvilla Corporate Office and our new
Employment Services Division. The other wing is home to the new “Connections” Day Services Program that began operating in July.

A paved veranda with new picnic tables allows staff and clients to enjoy the outdoors. A
large picnic pavilion is on site and will be used for company picnics, meetings and events.

An enclosed raised bed garden has been built and will be ready for spring planting projects.

“At Thursday’s Open House we want everyone to see the results of the combined efforts
of consumer advocates and their families, staff, donors and community volunteers that made this facility possible, “ said Haroon Ansari, President of the Corvilla Board of Directors.

“We are very excited to open our doors to our friends and neighbors and highlight all of
the positive things going on at Corvilla. Since 1959, Corvilla has been providing quality life
enhancing services and our new campus will assist us in continuing our mission for many years to come.” said Rick Thompson, Corvilla CEO.

Please call Corvilla at 574‐289‐9779 for more information and open house details.
