Congressman Visclosky accepted an invitation to meet with University of Saint Francis Crown Point leadership, including President Sister M. Elise Kriss, OSF, to tour its Simulation Laboratory and discuss types of students served by the school, its future plans, employment procured by its graduates, its placement success and the school’s history in these areas.
The visit is Tuesday, Sept. 3 from 9-10:30 a.m. at USF Crown Point, 12800 Mississippi Parkway, Crown Point. Congressman Visclosky is interested in learning more about the work USF Crown Point is doing to educate Lake County students for careers in the healthcare industry and achieve near-perfect placement rates for graduates. He has worked with the university in Fort Wayne and now Crown Point to support education services that contribute to the economic vitality of those areas. He is continuing to be vigilant as a legislator committed to the success of his constituency.
