Community Hospital Nurses Earn Certification

MUNSTER — Nurses by day and students by night, the staff of the Acute Rehabilitation Unit at Community Hospital have spent countless hours preparing for the Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN) exam. Their hard work has finally paid off and all six team members – Chad Jones, RN; Christine Sencaj, RN; Jennifer Mutka, RN; JoAnna Klocek, RN; Katherine Kasper, RN and Lila Dunham, RN – received passing scores, earning CRRN credentials for the rehabilitation specialty.

The CRRN title validates that these nurses have specialized knowledge in all aspects of rehabilitation care for patients living with physical disabilities and chronic illnesses. This knowledge comes with many benefits – patients are further comforted knowing they are receiving highly specialized care and employers value the superior quality of nursing provided by certified employees.
