MUNSTER — Community Hospital Auxiliary has awarded 45 scholarships, in the amount of $2,000 each, to eligible children of hospital employees studying for careers in the healthcare field. The awards were presented to the students by the Community Hospital Auxiliary Scholarship committee on June 5.
Money for the scholarship fund is generated annually through hospital fund raisers, Red Garter Gift Shoppe sales and proceeds from the Red Garter gift cart. This year there also were a number of generous individual contributions as well.
