MUNSTER – Community Hospital is expanding outpatient services to Schererville. Scheduled to open in June, the 11,400-square-foot Community Hospital Outpatient Center at the corner of U.S. 30 and Harvest Drive will offer family medicine, immediate care, laboratory and outpatient diagnostic services for patients of all ages.

Specialists in family practice and internal medicine will provide immediate care Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for patients experiencing non-life threatening injuries and illnesses. Complementing the medical practice will be a full service lab, general x-ray and advanced technology, including MRI and CT imaging.

Additionally, Community Care Network Family Medicine physicians will see patients through scheduled appointments and offer diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic conditions, injuries and preventive services.

“The Schererville Outpatient Center will be another link to the quality care offered through Community Hospital,” said Donald P. Fesko, CEO, adding that when Community Hospital Outpatient Center Schererville opens later this year, it is expected to create an estimated 25 additional permanent jobs.
