The Indiana Chamber of Commerce's inaugural year of Best Places to Work in Manufacturing program proved worthy of a second year.
“With so many manufacturers providing Hoosiers with jobs and careers, it’s a pleasure to once again celebrate these top workplaces,” said Indiana Chamber President and CEO Kevin Brinegar in a press release. “Last year’s inaugural showcase drew applicants from all corners of the state, and we hope to spread the word and get even more makers to take part.”
The program is an extension of the chamber's Best Places to Work in Indiana, an awards program that began in 2006.
Winners are determined by a two-part survey, which seeks feedback from employers and employees. Nominees must be manufacturers, a location in Indiana, employ at least 15 people in Indiana, and doing business for at least a year.
The honorees will be honored during a luncheon in December and be honored in a chamber publication.
Applications will be taken until July 28.
