HAMMOND – The Challenger Learning Center, in partnership with NASA’s Summer of Innovations project, is offering students from East Chicago and Gary scholarships to one-day Space Adventure Camps.
Third through sixth-grade students can partake in one of three sessions. They are CSI: Aliens on Monday, July 23; The Amazing Race (with rockets) on Wednesday, July 25; and Essential Engineering on Thursday, July 26.
Each session is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Challenger Learning Center at Purdue University Calumet. For more information or to register, call (219) 989-3250. Proof of residency is required.
