HAMMOND – The Challenger Learning Center of Northwest Indiana will hold summer camps for children from pre-kindergarten through eighth grade.
Camp activities will teach children the importance of teamwork and understanding the world around them, problem solving and critical thinking skills. Sessions rang from half-day to four-days beginning June 11 and concluding July 19. Costs for the sessions vary depending on age and skill levels.
Since opening in 1999, more than 170,000 adults and children have participated in the various programs at the learning center. For information on camps sessions, call (219) 989-3250.
