LAPORTE – The Indiana Department of Correction has announced at Camp Summit Boot Camp near LaPorte has received the 2011 Barbara Allen-Hagen Award for extraordinary improvement to facility quality of life and operations.
The award is sponsored by the Council of Juvenile Correctional Administrators.
“Camp Summit is blessed with many highly dedicated and professional staff that genuinely cares about the juveniles we work with,” said Camp Summit Superintendent Cecil Davis.
