C-SPAN founder to speak at Sinai Forum

MICHIGAN CITY – The 59th season of the Purdue University North Central Sinai Forum will continue at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4, at Elston Middle School with “An Afternoon with Brian Lamb.” He is the founder and former chairman and CEO of C-SPAN.

The 2012 season of Sinai Forum is sponsored by the Franciscan Alliance Northern Indiana Hospitals, including Franciscan St. Anthony Health in Michigan City and Crown Point, Franciscan St. Margaret Health in Dyer and Hammond, and Franciscan Physicians Hospital in Munster.

Lamb is a native of Lafayette, Ind., and a graduate of Purdue University. Prior to launching C-SPAN in 1979, he held communications roles including White House telecommunications policy staffer and Washington bureau chief for Cablevision magazine.
