The Kathryn Weil Center for Education is hosting a Breathe Easier lung event on Thursday, Nov. 12 at Franciscan St. Elizabeth East. Breathe Easier: Understanding your lungs and how to keep them healthy from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
Registration and educational booths with educators from the Franciscan Healthy Living Center, Respiratory Department and Pulmonary Rehab will be located in the North Entrance from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Facilitators will be giving tours of the Cardiopulmonary Rehab department. The Radiology department will demonstrate how lung scans are performed.
Becky Cutchin, RN, ANP-BC, OCN, will present the function of healthy lungs, warning signs of when to seek medical advice and technology used to detect problems. The presentation will be begin at 6:30.
