CHICAGO — Body Glove SURGE Grand Prix announced the first round leaders in the competition to determine Chicagoland’s fastest triathletes in the Olympic distance. Ryan Giuliano, 30, of Oak Hill, IL, leads the men and Megan James, 43, of Portage, MI, leads the women following their victories in Leon’s Triathlon, the first event in the Body Glove SURGE Grand Prix held on June 1st at Wolf Lake Park in Hammond, Indiana.
Leon Wolek founder of Leon’s Triathlon, said, “There’s no doubt that Chicagoland is the center of the triathlon competition in the United States. The Body Glove SURGE Grand Prix now gives triathletes bragging rights as to who is the fastest competitor in our area.
