GARY – Ben Clement has been Innovator of the Month for February by the Society of Innovators of Northwest Indiana.
Clement promotes Gary to film and television productions. Recent films shot partially in Gary include “Transformers 3” and “Nightmare on Elm Street.”
More than 80 films have been produced in Gary since Clement took over the Gary Office of Film and Television under former Mayor Scott King. Currently, he has five films scheduled for production in Gary.
Clement was nominated by John Davies, assistant director of the Society of Innovators.
