Christiaan Mamczak, D.O. will join Bryan Boyer, M.D. at Beacon Medical Group Orthopaedic Trauma Surgery.
Dr. Mamczak received his medical degree and completed his Residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey – School of Osteopathic Medicine in Stratford, N.J. He completed his Fellowship in Orthopaedic Trauma Surgery at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Mo. He previously served as Staff Orthopaedic Surgeon at the Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth, Virginia.
Dr. Mamczak specializes in acute and reconstructive trauma, including pelvis and acetabulum fractures, as well as postoperative complications and deformities.
Dr. Mamczak, who is Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery, is a U.S. Navy Lieutenant Commander in the Medical Corps serving as an orthopaedic trauma surgeon. He served in the military overseas, including as head orthopaedic trauma surgeon during Operation Enduring Freedom in Kandahar, Afghanistan, and aboard the USNS Comfort during Operation Unified Response for the Haiti earthquake humanitarian relief effort.
