GARY – Mayor Karen Freeman-Wilson has announced that Speros Batistatos, president and CEO of the South Shore Convention and Visitors Authority, has been appointed to the Gary Park Board.
“Speros has a true passion for the City of Gary and we are delighted that is joining the park board,” said Freeman-Wilson.
“I am honored to join the board and serve the community in which I live,” said Batistatos. “The City of Gary has an exceptional new leader and I look forward to sharing my experiences and contributing to the future direction and growth of this great city.”
Batistatos also serves on the board of the Challenger Learning Center, Northwest Indiana Forum and Indiana Parenting Institute.
