MICHIGAN CITY – The Northern Indiana Tourism Development Commission has named Jack Arnett, executive director of the LaPorte County Convention and Visitors Bureau as its new president.

NITDC is a seven county organization with works together to promote a regional approach to tourism across northern Indiana. The counties involved are Porter, LaPorte, St. Joseph, Elkhart, Marshall, Kosciusko and LaGrange.
Arnett has headed LaPorte County tourism since 2007. “I am deeply honored by having been elected to serve as president of NITDC,” said Arnett. “It’s very humbling to follow behind those who have previously served, most of whom are leaders across the country in our industry.”
