MERRILLVILLE — The American College of Sports Medicine Midwest Chapter hosted their annual conference at Radisson Hotel at Star Plaza Nov. 7 and 8. The conference was expected to host between 330 and 350 attendees comprised of professors and researchers, Doctoral/master’s and undergraduate students, as well as clinical professionals.
According to Chapter President Dr. Michael Kushnick, the conference’s goal was to disseminate and share knowledge from individual academic and clinical-based research, real-life case findings from sports medicine case reports, research symposia, clinical tutorials of relevant exercise science and clinical applications.
