MISHAWAKA – A.M. General has begun marketing its new MV-1, a vehicle designed and built specifically to meet the standards of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.
The vehicle is priced at $40,000 and features a ramp for loading people in wheelchairs, a 36-inch wide door and is 56 inches high. It also has room to allow a person in a wheelchair to site in the front passenger area.
So far 41 dealers nationwide are selling the MV-1.
