MISHAWAKA – AM General has announced that its current layoff of 350 workers will continue through June 30. The layoff began Jan. 1 and was schedule to end in May.

Company officials said the layoffs are temporary and are the result of a delay in receiving orders for manufacture of Humvees for foreign customers. The delay has been caused by new rules and regulations.

AM General has 500 employees in Mishawaka.
