Agribusiness Council of Indiana Conference

Newly inaugurated Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb will give the closing keynote on the opening day (Thursday, January 26th) of the annual ACI Conference and Expo.  The session will give you the opportunity to hear the Governor's first comments focused on agriculture and agribusiness themes since his inauguration earlier this week.

ACI is thrilled to host our state's 51st Governor and encourages all members to turn out to hear from him!  Governor Holcomb has long been a champion for and friend of our organization and Indiana agribusinesses.  He well understands that agribusiness is a vital industry for Indiana's economy and workforce and knows that all of agriculture will have a critical role in ensuring an innovative and successful future for our state.

This year's ACI conference theme is “Educate. Advocate. Lead.”   We will explore several “game-changing” issues facing our members, including the economic outlook ahead, the recent elections and coming political “shake-ups”, regulatory overreach, social media and consumers, the competition for talent, and industry consolidation.

The program agenda features a notable line-up of industry experts and thought-leaders.   Other speakers on the first day include:

Dr. Jason Henderson, Associate Dean, Purdue College of Agriculture
Chuck Conner, President/CEO, National Council of Farmer Cooperatives
Jay Vroom, President/CEO, CropLife America
Ted McKinney, Director, IN State Dept. of Agriculture
Leah Beyer, Global Digital Communications Director, Elanco
