SOUTH BEND – Weigel Broadcasting Co. announces that ABC 57 News won two Midwest Emmy Awards last weekend at the Chicago/Midwest Chapter National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences’ Emmy Award ceremony in Chicago, Illinois.
The first award, Outstanding Achievement for News Gathering – Serious Single News Feature for ‘Joshua’s Journey,’ was presented to Kim Chappell, Reporter, Kyle Fobe, Producer and Aaron Ramey, Executive Producer.
The second award, Outstanding Achievement for News Specialty Reporting – Environment for ‘Meth Head Hotbeds’ was presented to Daryl Bjoraas, Reporter and Aaron Ramey, Executive Producer.
