PORTAGE — A big boost has come to the Northwest Indiana lending community through a partnership between the Regional Development Company and the NWI Forum; an inaugural group of 504 Certified Economic Developers has recently completed their training and acquired skills to help advance the entire region.
The idea behind the certification process arose from a desire between the two groups to increase awareness of the RDC 504 loan program and its processes to a targeted group of local economic developers and chambers of commerce.
