LAPORTE – Two people affiliated with Indiana University Health Occupational Service have received additional certifications.
Physical therapist Ron Knickrehm of LaPorte received the Astym certification, a mechanical treatment option to reduce or remove scar tissue that is causing pain or movement issues. He has more than 30 years of therapy experience and is a graduate of Marquette University. He has been IU Health since 2008.
Physical therapist assistant Amy Kolb received the Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist certification. She has 15 years of experience and has been with IU Health since 2011. Kolb, of Kouts, is a graduate of Vincennes University.
