The TLC network’s television show “19 Kids and Counting,” which chronicles the life of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar and their 19 children, filmed in Porter County.

Cast and crew members dined in Chesterton, enjoyed a fishing adventure aboard Triplecatch Charters in Portage and enjoyed campsite activities at Indiana Dunes State Park in Chesterton.

The “19 Kids and Counting” episode featuring Porter County is tentatively scheduled to air Nov. 18 on TLC. Area residents and fans of the show will have to tune in to see how the fishing competition and camping adventure went.
