LA PORTE — As the 12th annual Tour de La Porte (TdL) approaches, a new and exciting mountain bike time trial event is ready to be unveiled. This event, held on Aug. 24 at Soldiers Memorial Park, has been added to the annual La Porte Hospital Foundation cancer benefit event to accommodate the wide range of athletic interests within the community.
The mountain bike time trial utilizes the wooded trails already available at Soldiers Memorial Park. This event is the first of its kind to be offered in the La Porte community for mountain bike enthusiasts. To register online or donate, visit tourdelaporte.org.
