MISHAWAKA – Whole Foods of Austin, Texas, has announced it will open a store in the former Borders book store in Mishawaka. The store is expected to open in the fall and will employ 100 people.
The company plans $5 million in renovations to the 24,000-square-foot building in the Princess City Plaza at Grape and Day roads. Other retailers in the plaza include Kohl’s, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Petsmart, Old Navy, Shoe Carnival and Gordman’s.
The building was marketed by Grubb & Ellis/Cressy & Everett.
