CROWN POINT – Cara Voorhorst has joined the faculty of the University of St. Francis Crown Point as adjunct professor of microbiology in the School of Arts and Sciences.
She has worked for the Indiana Department of Health laboratory, identifying organisms that cause disease outbreaks within the state. She also has taught general biology at several local community colleges and worked as a graduate school teaching assistant.
Voorhorst is a graduate of Purdue University Calumet and Western Michigan University.
