MERRILLVILLE – Twenty-seven organizations and association representatives learned what it meant to be a hero during the annual South Shore Convention and Visitors Authority Bring it Home Ambassador reception.
“It’s important to get people involved with the campaign to spread awareness of their ability to create economic impact,” said Megan Langel, sales manager for the South Shore DVA.
In addition to networking and learning about the potential to create economic impact, attendees samples food and drink from the region including cheese from Fair Oaks Farms, wine from Shady Creek Winery in Michigan City and chocolate from Albanese Confectionery in Hobart.
