Several companies from Northwest Indiana are ranked among the Best Places to Work in Indiana for 2019.

More than 125 Hoosier companies were named to the Best
Places to Work in Indiana list, which was released in February, included 40 businesses making the list for the first time. The complete list is available on the Indiana Chamber website but the rankings were revealed April 30 during an awards dinner in Indianapolis.

The Northwest Indiana businesses making the 2019 Best Places to Work in Indiana list and their rankings includes:

Winning companies represent almost 30 cities and towns across the state.

Top companies in the state were determined through employer reports and comprehensive employee surveys. The Best Companies Group, which handled the selection process, oversees similar programs in 25 other states.

Winners were selected from four categories: small companies of between 15 and 74 U.S. employees; medium companies of between 75 and 249 U.S. employees; large companies of between 250 and 999 U.S. employees; and major companies with 1,000 or more U.S. employees. Out-of-state parent companies were eligible to participate if at least 15 full-time employees are in Indiana.

The 2019 Best Places to Work in Indiana companies range in Hoosier employee count from 15 to more than 1,800.
