CHICAGO – Illinois Association of Realtors member and Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Broker, Carmen Rodriguez was recently nominated by the association to serve as an IAR State Legislative Contact (SLC) for the 2013-14 legislative session of the Illinois General Assembly.
In this capacity, Rodriguez will bring her experience and knowledge of IAR positions to bear on matters of public policy and government affairs. Rodriguez was also named a member of the 2013 Capitol Conference Planning Committee for the Chicago Association of Realtors (CAR), a group tasked with coordinating the annual lobbying conference of association members in Springfield.
“I am pleased and honored to serve in these roles with my professional associations,” Rodriguez remarked, “Because I think we all benefit when each of us contributes to the success of our industry. We’re all responsible for the effectiveness of our public policies.”
