SCHERERVILLE – The Indiana Assisted Living Association (“INALA”) honored the Residences at Deer Creek of Schererville, Indiana as the Indiana Assisted Living Community of the Year during its annual Fall Conference and awards luncheon in Indianapolis. This is the first time INALA extended this type of recognition to an Indiana assisted living community.
Criteria for this prestigious award include encouraging resident and community engagement, supporting the local community, developing unique programs to improve resident and staff satisfaction and offering a nurturing environment to enhance the quality of life for residents, to name a few.
