WEST LAFAYETTE – The 2011 Adventures in Computer Science Summer Camp for students in grades 6 to 8 will be June 19-24 at Purdue University.
Sponsored by the K-12 Outreach Program of the Department of Computer Science, the camp will offer an in-depth look at computer science concepts such as programming and robotics and how they are used every day to make a difference in our world. Participants will use programs such as Python, Alice, Lego Robotics and JavaScript.
Activities take place in the Lawson Computer Science Building and will be led by Mindy Hart, Purdue computer science K-12 outreach coordinator. For more information, call (765) 494-7802.
