VALPARAISO — Porter-Starke Services, a licensed community mental health center for adults, families, adolescents and children with mental health or substance abuse issues, will be presented with a Best Practices Honor from the American Psychological Association (APA) at the annual Psychologically Healthy Workplace Awards ceremony to be held on March 8, 2014 in Washington, D.C. Porter-Starke Services was recognized for its work to boost the morale of staff and the people they serve through The Inspiration Project, a uniquely innovative program incorporating the This I Believe storytelling model.
