WEST LAFAYETTE – France A. Cordova, president of the Purdue University, is featured in a PBS-sponsored educational program and documentary highlighting women whose accomplishments in society, arts and science has helped shape America.
“Makers: Women Who Make America,” tells the story of women’s advancement in America over the past 50 years. The three-part series will air in the fall of 2013.
“France is a true powerhouse who shattered glass ceilings in both academia and science, an arena where we especially need more role models for women and girls. We’re thrilled to include her inspiring story in this important initiative,” said executive producer Dyllan McGee.
