MERRILLVILLE – The Chicago Lighthouse for People who Are Blind or Visually Impaired will hold a “Low Vision Products Show,” from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, July 21, at Avalon Manor in Merrillville.
The show is being sponsored by Steve and Georgiann Pangere, owners of Pangere Corp. in Gary. Admission is free.
Pangere said there will be a variety of displays on low vision products and Lighthouse will provide free demonstrations on many of the products.
Among the devices will be portable reading devices, GPS, talking clocks and watches, kitchen items, large button phones and cell phones, sunglasses, computer keyboards, accessibility software, speech to text dictation programs and portable hand-held CCTV magnifiers.
