Michigan City chamber seeks new president following resignation of Mary Jo Orlowski

Michigan City chamber logoMICHIGAN CITY – The Michigan City Chamber of Commerce is in search of a new leader following the resignation of Mary Jo Orlowski who had served as the organization’s president since January 2016.

The chamber in a Sept. 20 statement said that Orlowski “tendered her resignation.” No other details were provided.

The chamber said Orlowski began new programs for the organization and helped develop new membership.

“We wish Ms. Orlowski all the best and thank her for her service with the Michigan City chamber,” said Charlie Keene, 2018 chairman of the Michigan City chamber board of directors.

The chamber is actively seeking a new president and hopes to have someone in place soon.
