KOUTS – Leggett and Platt Inc. has announced it is moving part of its Kentucky operation to its 200,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Kouts. The company manufactures residential furnishings and commercial fixtures.
Because of the move, the company will invest $275,000 in the Kouts operation, one of six it has in Indiana.
Founded in 1883 in Missouri, Leggett and Platt is one of the largest steel wire producers in the nation.
