LAPORTE – A 137-acre expansion of Thomas Rose Industrial Park has been dedicated by Gov. Mitch Daniels. The new area has room for 1.2 million square feet of industrial space.
The expansion site is served by Norfolk Southern and South Shore Freight railroads.
LaPorte Mayor Blair Milo said developer Space Center has plans for nine new buildings and the potential for 1,000 new jobs.
