INDIANAPOLIS – The Heartland Film Festival will be Oct. 14 to 23 at various locations in Indianapolis. Tickets for the annual event are now on sale.
A record 102 American and international films will be screened, said Jeffrey L. Sparks, CEO of Heartland Truly Moving Pictures. “This year’s number of films surpasses the festival’s previous record of 87 films, which was set just last year,” said Sparks. “We’re thrilled to be growing so much from year to year.”
More than $100,000 in prizes, including a $50,000 grand prize, will be presented during the event. The ceremony will be Saturday, Oct. 16, at the Old National Centre in downtown Indianapolis. Films will be shown at AMC Castleton Square 14 on the north side, and AMC Showplace Indianapolis 17 on the south side. For information about the festival, visit www.HeartlandFilmFestival.org.
