A new Goodwill retail store and donation center will bring 25 new jobs to Plymouth.

Representatives for Goodwill of Michiana will break ground March 30 on the new facility on an out lot of the Pilgrim Place Shopping Center on U.S. Route 30.

The facility also will include a community career center, which provides free job search assistance for anyone seeking employment.

“Over the years, we’ve received numerous requests for a Goodwill in the Plymouth area,” said Debie Coble, president and CEO, of Goodwill of Michiana. “As we welcome customers into our new retail store and donors at our drive-thru donation center, we will be good stewards of their trust in us and the resources they provide, by reinvesting them back into the community.”

The community career center is a free self-help facility for anyone seeking help finding a job. Individuals can work on resumes, write cover letters, and develop their interview skills.

Free workshops also will be offered to job seekers taught by Goodwill experts and corporate partners.
