GARY – The Defense Department will present its 2012 Freedom Award to the Gary Jet Center for its support of employees who are members of the National Guard and Reserves.
Gary Jet Center is one of only 15 companies nationally to receive the honor and the only company from Indiana. The award will be presented Sept. 20 in Washington, D.C.
Owner Wil Davis said his company has 47 employees, nine of whom are members of the National Guard or Reserves.
