The expansion of Four Winds Casino South Bend is expected to create up to 400 new jobs and operators are preparing for what it hopes will be a large volume of people seeking employment.

The Pokagon Band of Potawatomi’s Four Winds Casinos have opened a new recruitment center in South Bend to process applications, conduct interviews and hire individuals seeking to fill open positions at its South Bend site that is currently under renovation and a major expansion, which includes a 23-story hotel.

The recruitment center is at the Erskine Plaza at 1290 East Ireland Road, Suite D. It will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (EST) Monday through Friday. Appointments are not required to come in and complete applications.

The expansion and renovation project is on track for an early 2023 completion. The tribe expects between 350 and 400 new jobs will be created.

“We are very excited to begin receiving applicants for positions to support the expansion of Four Winds South Bend,” said Darcy Davis, senior vice president of human resources for Four Winds Casinos.  “We have a variety of part-time and full-time positions available to support our operations, including our expanded gaming floor which will open later this year and our hotel, spa, conference and event space which will open early 2023.”

Davis said part-time and full-time positions offer benefit packages, and some positions are eligible for a $500 sign on bonus. Some of the available jobs include barbacks, bartenders, beverage servers, cashiers services representatives, cooks, dishwashers, food attendants, food servers, kitchen utility, casino housekeepers, table games dealers, maintenance engineers, valet, slot floor, gaming technicians, security, and surveillance operators.

Additional information on available jobs is available on the Four Winds Casinos website.
